Great Britain - Trade Minister thanked the Muslim religion to bring the center of politics and reducing secularism

LONDON - The Labor MP Stephen Timms has praised Muslims for bringing religion in Britain.

"When part of our society is so deeply secular, so opposed to acknowledge God, I wish today to express appreciation and gratitude to Muslims in Britain for their insistence on religion," said Minister of Trade and Labor member from East Ham in the Global Peace and Unity Event organized by Islam Channel last week.

"I want to thank the Muslims who bring religion at the center of life and debate in Britain in a way that had not seen for a long time. You are responsible for this change, which I warmly, "he added.

He urged Muslims to engage in politics.

"We need more people address the policy of a religious point of view. Because religion is the source of decent values such as honesty, devotion to family, generosity, peace support, "said Timms. "We need this kind of decent values that the Muslim community demonstrates in abundance."
